Aaron Jeffery
Logie Award-winning New Zealand actor Aaron C. Jeffery is from Australia. He is well-known for his roles in the film Terry Watson in Water Rats as Alex Ryan in McLeod's Daughters and as Matt "Fletch" Fletcher in Wentworth. Born in Howick, Auckland, Jeffery moved to Australia at the age of 17 and studied acting at NIDA. He graduated from NIDA in 1993 and started his TV career on the children's television show Ship to Shore. Jeffery is most well-known for his performance in McLeod's Daughters as Alex Ryan. He left the show in 2008. He also appeared in the third season of Outrageous Fortune, a New Zealand drama. Jeffery was also seen as Frank in Underbelly: Badness. Filming was completed on June 22nd. The following day it was announced that Jeffery had joined the crew of Neighbours as Bradley Fox for two months. In October, it was announced that Jeffery was assigned to be a Wentworth corrections officer. Bevan Lee's show Between Two Worlds starred Jeffery. In April of 2021, it was announced that Jeffery will be a part of Pieces of Her, a Netflix thriller series adapted from the Karin Slaughter book. For his role in McLeod’s Daughters, Jeffery was awarded the Silver Logie for Most Popular Drama Series actor in 2004 and 2007.
