Charisma Carpenter
Charisma Carpenter was born July 23 in 1970. She was Cordelia Chase in the series of supernatural drama Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997-1999) and its spin-off series Angel (1999-2004). She also appeared in Charmed (2004) and Kendall Casablanca's (2005-2006), Rebecca Sewell (2012-2013) and Lacy (2010-2012) Carpenter was born in Las Vegas, Nevada,[disputed - discuss] daughter of Christine Carpenter, a bird sanctuary worker and Don Carpenter, a salesman. She is of Spanish (from her maternal grandfather), French, and German descent. Carpenter was a student at Bishop Gorman High School located in Las Vegas. She was also a member of a music and dance group that performed in the Las Vegas Valley. Carpenter relocated with her family to Rosario Beach in Baja California, Mexico, at age 15 years old. She was a student at Bonita Vista High School and Chula Vista School of the Creative and Performing Arts. Carpenter was on a tour to Europe after her graduation. When she returned to San Diego, she worked as a clerk in a video store, an aerobics instructor, and as a property manager. In 1991, she was employed as cheerleader for the San Diego Chargers football team. She moved to Los Angeles in 1992. In 1991, Henry Hubbard Jr. confronted her along with two male acquaintances as they were swimming in San Diego. He was a former San Diego cop and serial rapist who tried to subdue them by threatening them with a firearm. The two of them, Henry Hubbard Jr. and her comrades were killed in the fight. Both of them survived. Hubbard was found guilty and sentenced to 56 year imprisonment for a series rapes, as well as robberies. Carpenter brought Hubbard his police-issue flashlight to the beach. He had left it at the beach. The flashlight turned out to be an important evidence piece against Hubbard.
