Paula Faris
Paula Faris is an American journalist from America. She previously worked as the TV reporter for ABC News. Her tenures as co-anchor on Good Morning America Weekend (2014-2018) and co-host on The View (2015-2018) are very well-known. She was also co-anchor on America This Morning as well as World News Now. After graduating, she worked in several communications-related jobs including an operations position at Mills/James Productions in Columbus, Ohio. Due to the limited opportunities on television, she was offered an opening as a radio sales representative. She was recruited to work as a WKEF/WRGT production assistant. She later was promoted to anchor and reporter. She was the weekend anchor at WCPO TV in Cincinnati as well as the weekday anchor at WCPO TV in Cincinnati from 2002 to 2005. When her contract ended she took on the role of sports reporter and anchor at the NBC affiliate WMAQ-TV in Chicago from November 2005 to December 2011. In December 2011 she was appointed by ABC News which is the division for news of ABC. On January 2, 2012 she made her debut on the network's World News Now and America This Morning. In this period, she performed as a fill-in host on Good Morning America as well as a correspondent. Then she was promoted to New York-based correspondent on every ABC News programs. The final show of World News Now and America This Morning was broadcast on January 22, 2013. After Bianna Golodryga quit for Yahoo!, her debut as co-anchor of Good Morning America Weekend was made August 9, 2014. News. ABC announced that she would be joining The View as a cohost for season 19. The show announced on August 3, 2016 that she was renewed for her contract for the twentieth season. Season 21 also saw her renewed as cohost. She was a regular guest on Friday episodes of the 21st season and the 22nd season.
