Kim Cattrall
Kim Victoria
Cattrall (born 21 August 1956) is a British and Canadian actress from Canada
and Britain. She is most famous for her part in Sex and the City's Samantha
Jones (1998-2004), which earned her five Emmy Awards and four Golden Globe
Award nominations. She also won the 2002 Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting
Artistress. In the films Sex and the City (2008) and Sex and the City 2 (2010)
she reprised her role. Cattrall made her debut in film in Rosebud (1975) and
was later seen in several television roles. In the 1980s, Cattrall rose to fame
through films such as Ticket to Heaven (1981), Police Academy (1984) and
Hold-Up (1985). She was also in City Limits (1985), Big Trouble in Little
China(86), Mannequin (1987), Masquerade (1888), Midnight Crossing (1988) and
The Return of the Musketeers (1989). Tribute (1980), Porky's (81), Turk 182(85)
and Baby Geniuses (999) were among the occasions in which she appeared
alongside Bob Clark. Additional credits include The Bonfire of the Vanities
(1990), Star Trek VI The Undiscovered Country (91), Split Second (1992), Above
Suspicion (95) and 15 Minutes (192001).
